Hi there

I've been searching on the net for some time now and have not found the answer I've been looking for. My question is
'CAN YOU MORPH A FIXED BACKGROUND IMAGE IN HTML/CSS TO ANOTHER BACKGROUND IMAGE'?
So basically, I want to be able to morph a fixed background image to another image.

Many thanks in advance.
CHEERS :)

What do you mean by morph? you can do a rollover and/or make the second image a gif and animate then stop?

Or you want two images blending in transparency to make one image?

too vague.

Hey firemaster

I haven't seen this done but what I've been asking is 'HOW DO YOU FADE IN AND OUT USING A FIXED BACKGROUND IMAGE'? My background is a fixed image and I want to fade out with a another fixed image. I know I can animate this in flash but I want to have html text or content on top of the fixed background image fading in and out.

An animated gif as a background containing both the old, the transition and the new one? Note: I dislike the idea myself.

CSS isn;t the best tool to do animation IMHO
