IE6 Problem

I am building this website that looks great in Safari and Firefox but looks terrible in IE6 (I have not been able to try it in IE7 yet). The navigation looks totally screwed up and the descriptive text under the images at the bottom of the page is not how it appears in Dreamweaver. It is not nice and smooth - it looks pixelated, like it is not anti-aliasing.
There is also too much space between the vojo logo at the top and the gray image below.

I have tried to follow the universal browser css guidelines as much as possible so I dont know what is causing these issues. Can anyone help?

Try posting some minimal code that still has the problems.
