This page shifts when expanded too much bet only in firefox and Safari.
Here is a normal sized page. <>
and here is an expanded page. <>
In safari and mozilla the entire "wrapper" div moves a pixel or two to the left?
I thought that this had something to do with floats and block level elements but everything that I have tried seems to produce the same result. All pages do this if expanded (height) past a certain amount.

I just wanted to say that even though links are not allowed [webmasterworld.com], I visited them both and can say there was no pixel shift between the two pages
My question is; Do you think anyone viewing your site normally/generally is going to do so at differing resolutions in order to compare if there is actually a x-browser/resolution shift ;)
Pixel perfect design is not a CSS ethos, CSS is more about making the suggestion that it look similar (not identical) in different browsers at different resolutions.
There's too many combinations of browsers/resolutions/screen sizes to ensure that what you're seeing is what others are seeing
i.e. I did not see what you were describing, someone else might have if their settings were the same as yours.. but in this big ol' world, that's not always likely so I wouldn't stress over it.. it looks the same unless you have a set of screen calipers ;)
