IE6 and IE7 CSS issues

correct display in IE7 and Firefox, but not in IE6

I am working on this project and it displays correctly in both IE7 and Firefox, however it does not display correctly in IE6. The panel is supposed to center the page, but in IE6 it moves to the right and down. I tried looking the forums and on google, but haven't found anything that has helped. Here is the relevant code...

There's nothing in that code to tell it to center.

Use a <center> around the elements or margin:auto in the css for the containing element.

I tried using <center> around the elements and it did nothing. I also did the margin:auto, and it had no effect on the IE6 view

Did you put the center tag outside of the Panel? What contains the Panel?

I'm not familiar with ASP so if you can - run the page in your browser and then right click the page and select 'view source' - post that in here.

The Center tag is outside of the panel. The panel is inside of a repeater. Here is the code in 2 blocks, wont fit in one

It's going to take me a while to sift through that code - and actually I'm not going to be able to work on it today as I'm going to be helping my parents move some stuff to their new house. I also got a job interview - so it's a busy day.

Anyways - please go into your code that you posted and bold the section that were looking at. Look through the site guidlines on posting code and it has a section on how to do that. Its just like the using the <b> tag actually - only use square brackets.

Found out how to fix it. There was a good vertical and horizontal centering article i finally found. Showed how to trick ie6
