Hello,

I am just grasping the concept of CSS, and would like to know where I can get some good video tutorials of hand coding CSS. I really need some good resources to understand it, since I am having a hard time with it. Something to simplify it would help. Thanks Bill

I did a quick Google search (css video tutorial) I found some video tutorials for CSS. Some are free some you would have to buy.

From what I understand of the rules I can't tell you about any for profit web site. But have you completed the tutorials for CSS at [w3schools.com...] They are not video tutorials, but I think they are very good tutorials for a beginner.

Hi Bill, to be honest I've never been able to learn anything web related without having a print book, and doing the coding or editing by hand (like in Notepad). I think it helps to have the examples right there in print to check for syntax. Then I use online tutorials to supplement or explain more, and sometimes to pick up little tricks that make things easier.

There are some *really* good tutorials and threads in the Library of this forum, that you can print out. And if you shop Amazon you can find used books in good condition very cheap - some with CDs. I've bought some books for under $1 plus $3.99 shipping. Get a very beginning level book and read the reviews before choosing.
