CSS guidelines for SEO

Pls give me some guidelines for CSS wich is useful for SEO. What are the steps use during the CSS creation acording to SEO.

Don't worry about SEO for your CSS. Worry more about CSS for your SEO.

Make sure your CSS documents can be crawled. If they're excluded by robots.txt it will look suspicious to the search engines.

I'd also say be careful with display:none - it can have a negative effect, but there are times when you need to use it and can get away with it...

Also if you use too many images as backgrounds via CSS then you loose the ability to utilize image alt tags which can affect keyword ranking
