CSS layer index

CSS layer index will not work under ie7 and firefox

Hello all!

Small snag here, I have created a drag and drop list of items with prototype and it shows a small thumbnail of the item on the left.

The thing is that I want the thumbnail to grow bigger as I pass the mouse over, so I created a div for each item and mouse events for each of them with inline CSS changing widht and height.

Works great in ie6 but not in ie7 and firefox, anyone has a suggestion on how to solve this?

Guess you'll need to post minimal code that still has the problem ...
