Afternoon everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew if their is a bug around layer ordering in firefox? I am currently developing a new website and i am having trouble with the navigation. It is built using a styled ul which should drop down over the content which it does on both safari and opera on the mac (i havnt checked IE on the PC yet) Trouble is that in Firefox it does this apart from when flash or js is used in the content below and it then appears below that content. Any ideas?

welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], keithRiches!

regarding the flash problem, this previous thread should help:

also make sure you are using swfobject [code.google.com] to embed the flash.

Hey, many thanks for your reply. Its not just the flash that is causing the issue. Any content which is run using js seems to be affected too. I think this may be a css issue with the positioning of the navigation. I know i have had this working in the past but this new design seems to be causing me issues! I bet its something simple that im just missing. I can provide a link to view the site if it will help?
