Bit of a newb to css question

I am converting my designs from tables to css. So im going through some what of a learning curve. I had a question though.

If I want to use css to do like a 3 rows 1 column approach on lets say for example the right. What would be the best way to accomplish this? Would I use 3 div tags? and position it to the right?
