I have a page with a top header, a left navigation section floated to the left, a content section beside that, and a footer beneath the two.
My problem is that my left navigation has a background image and the height of the left navigation section only goes to the few lines of text i have for a few links. My content section has much more text and what not and it extends way past where the left nav ends (and it's very visible because of the background image).
My question is: how can i make the height of the left navigation bar match the height of the content section?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld. This is a common problems. Columns only extand based on a) content or b) defined height. Do a search of either WebmasterWorld or the net for "faux columns" which will solve your problem. If you can't find a solution, PM me.
