CSS doesn't work with Joomla Template

I've just bought a Joomla template.

The problem is I've installed the template on my site and it seems to be ignoring the CSS.

Is that right for a template? I bought it thinking it would look exactly the same.

My other problem is I can't get the joomla editor to work. Should I download a new one?

Take a look at my site. You'll notice the difference (the font, the lack on pics/boxes): <sorry no personal site reviews>

The top boxes weren't there so followed the instructions as per the help forum guide and it still isn't working properly. why?

Hi Rightz

As you've bought the template there should be some sort of Tutorial or SetUp Guide - maybe on site or as a README file in your download - have you contacted the makers of the template?

fwiw, your template is not ignoring the CSS (I looked) most of it is there it seems as with most templates (not just joomla) that you have to assign the classes you want - I presume there's a larger choice with your bought template - to the pretty bits, like boxes. Your code will not know where to look in the CSS without those classes. ;)

If the editor isn't working - I wouldn't have a clue, you should contact the people you bought it from to see if they have a set up guide or FAQ or if you think it's a more general question you could head over to the Content Management and Usage forum [webmasterworld.com] to see if there's anything there that will help
