I saw an old post on this but with no answers... does anyone know of a fast way to convert css to inline style.
The reason is that I have to send out email direct mail (permission based) and gmail does not seem to read embedded or linked css

Some kind of conversion tool would be really cool.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld! maxim

sorry this post seems to have been missed, and I don't know of such a tool but will bump the post - maybe someone else knows of one!

You don't need to place it inline, as such. You can write it as if you were going to place it in the <head> but instead actually place it after the <body> tag. It will then be read by all the webmail clients, though not 100% as some still strip out or change certain styles (so as not to interfere with their own style for their site).

It's more than just Gmail that has this problem, it's all webmail clients, plus software like Outlook.
