Convert a nice menu to a css style

Hello to everyone,

I have found a very nice menu (http://www.freewebs.com/nafpaktia1/nafpaktos/nafpaktos.htm it lies on the right side). Could you tell me how to create a css file for this menu, that will allow me to replicate this nice hover effect of the button and its beatifull light dark border? I am tottaly a newbie and I will be very happy if someone could help me.
Also I think that also the left menu with the gray borders is very beatifull. If someone could also help me with it I will be more than happy :))

You'll want to do a search on 3-column css layouts here in this site. If you're new to CSS, it'd be a heck of a lot easier to practice with a 2-column layout first. You'll see a similar use of css to create navigation (in 2 columns) at www.alistapart.com. If you change the colors you'll be close.
