Horizontal Menus with IE

I am working on a new site for a friend that you can see at:

It looks great in Safari and Firefox, but for some reason I can't get the menu navigation at the top and bottom to go horizontally using IE. I've tried display:inline and even inline-block, but for some reason IE doesn't like horizontal lists. Any suggestions on how to get IE to do that using CSS?

Just checked it in IE 6 and it looks fine.
