Im looking for a website which is fairly basic and simple which simply provides the definition of most of css terms? i cant seem to find a reliable one that covers 90% of terms used in css? can anyone direct me to one they use? or even a book?

The W3C CSS spec - [w3.org...] - is neither basic nor simple but it's the only way to go if you really want to understand CSS. Just take it in a bit at a time as problems come up.

The W3C document can be a little difficult to navigate at times. So Eric Meyer offers a framed version that keeps all the terms on the left hand frame for easy reference.

I have made a local copy of this on my machine so I can refer to CSS spec quickly and easily even when I am offline.

There are also sidebars available for people who are using Opera or Mozilla that do a simlar job.

See [meyerweb.com...]

I really like the site at blooberry: http*//www.blooberry.com/indexdot/css/propindex/all.htm. Not a lot of depth, but covers almost everything.
