Converting Advanced autostretch tables to CSS

Hi folks,

I'm using Javascript to make a drag-and-drop interactive exercise page using layers, and want to combine it with my cool HTML design. I've heard about CSS being the ultimate in controlling presentation and structure, but even the so-called advanced CSS pages such as at glish.com are unusably simplistic.

Is it possible to create really great design with CSS alone, and are there any URLs anyone knows of? If it's so difficult to get even a header and 3 columns with a central fluid one set up, then the presentation/structure thing just doesn't hold. 2 years from now, will CSS really be powering well-designed pages?

Thx for the input,

Jeremy

Hi jeremymgp

I sticky-mailed you my design as my bid for a good css designed site.

at [thenoodleincident.com...] they have a bunch of layout lessons, also 2 and 3 column.

Other then that i am conviced that css will drive well designed pages in the future. Sure it is hard to get it right with browser-bugs. But as i get the hang of it i see the possibilities.

Have you checked [csszengarden.com ]
there is some cool stuff there?

And our own Papabaer [bigbaer.com ] with some advanced tutorials.

I hope i havent posted any unauthorized URLS!

Kind Regards
Hafnius
