Two other sites are using my business name

What recourse do I have to prevent this?

I just noticed recently that someone is using my business name and now there is another one. Their business names did not appear on the Internet until recently but the one claims to be in business since 1996. What resourse do I have to prevent this?

At last my site rises above the others in rank.

trademark is about it. Have you filed? Have they filed?

If you haven't, I'd talk to a trademark lawyer tomorrow. If you have, I'd talk to a trademark lawyer yesterday.

There could be hundreds, if not thousands more out there with your business name. Unless you have a registered trademark like Pepsi, I wouldn't sweat it. There are companies with the same name within miles of each other all over the place. ;)
