Any advice will be much appreciated. THanks
There is a rumour that google can identify as little as one paragraph on a page as duplicate content, could even be a sentence of text if they wanted to...who knows
Now that said there are plenty of sites out there doing exactly the same and getting away with it, that's the chance you would have to take...
Buy widget at widgeta.com
Widgeta has a lof of widgets and its tasty. Click here to enter....
and such... so how do SE determins this? This is worrying me because i do not know whether this will be accepted or not.
One useful way of showing that you aren't spamming, is to name the original source of the content. Therefore, you can tell your visitors in widgeta.com that the content is originally from widget.com. Plus, if you add some unique content to widgeta.com it even makes more sense.
But why would you want a second site that is a duplicate? You might want to consider focusing on a different target market for the second site. That way at least there is a purpose for its existence.
