I am responsible for keeping a real estate website up-to-date with photos and descriptions. Uploading photos can be a long winded process against descriptions, prices, location etc etc. Plus you don't just get the main photo, I also have to upload the views, bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens etc. I know you can put all this information in a back end database, but I am not an advanced web site developer, and work with my limitations so far. The point is, is there a content management system out there that could deal with my workloads a lot easier for me?

Look for the php program Gallery. It might handle your situation.

Some of the commercial, public domain or shareware photo gallery scripts could be used for your purpose -- some with less modifications necessary than others. It depends on your exact needs and plans for the site.

I'd recommend looking into Photopost's various product offerings -- they're commerical applications, but between their photo gallery software and classified ads software, one or the other (or both) might be right up your alley. The classified ads one sounds more in line with your real estate needs.

Thank you all for replying, I shall investage these options. Certainly the photopost option looks great and I have already requested an evaluation. The fact the system works with PHP and MySQL makes it even more attractive.
