I am aware of archive.org and I am looking for something similar. I would like to pay a fee to have my website archived by an independent third party upon request.

Ideally, this type of service can or has been successfully used in North American courts to prove ownership.

I have found some services which prove ownership but they do not store actual copies of the work on their site which is what I would like to have done.

I am also aware that copyrights can be offically registered but that does not seem practical for a website with thousands of pages of content that change frequently.

Has anyone used or heard of such a service?

Thanks.

Double check with the copyright office whether you'd have to copyright all the individual pages or just copyright the entire site as a whole.
