need to strip content from web pages

any good programs for this?

I've always done this by hand in the past, but with the site I'm working with now there's 100's of pages that I need to get the content out of so I can reformat them properly.

Does anyone know of a good way to do this? I'd prefer to use a desktop app, but am open to any time saving suggestions.

I am a big fan of "Internet Macros" from iOpus.

It includes a wizard that let's you define EXTRACT commands. I use it, for example, to automate the extraction of prices and rankings from Amazon. And then use it to post my ads automatically :-)

A combination of The Regex Coach (free) and Textpipe Pro (not so free) is ideal for this kind of work, but you will need at least a vague idea of how regular expressions work.
