I know that you can sign-up with bbc.co.uk to use their news feeds on a site with their supplied code providing they approve your site.
I was wondering if anyone knew if it was ok to use just the xml feed and then code your own way of displaying it?
(e.g. bbc news feed for world news: [bbc.co.uk...] )

First, you have to meet their eligibility criteria [news.bbc.co.uk] and then display the feed in accordance with their Terms and Conditions [news.bbc.co.uk]. It looks like you should be able to format the feed as you like within the overall structure of their T&C; these terms are quite specific about some things, though.

Jimmy_turnip,
Did you simply copy and paste the content of that link into a page?
How did you get it to work?

Shane, I was going to use the XML reader supplied with asp.net if it was possible. I assumed it was.
My other idea, if the other didn't work, was to simply parse the whole page as a string and then remove the content I required between specific brackets in the XML schema.

As I understand it the BBC won't let you use their newsfeed on a company intranet. Does anyone know where I can get a free newsfeed for an intranet site (preferably UK news)?

Thanks for those Jimmy. Freesticky looks particularly good.
