Need for Copywriters and content development

How has the need changed?

I recognize that the Florida changes are very recent and many of us are still scratching our heads. However, several folks here and other sources have suggested that content maybe more important now than pre-florida. I would like to get some additional feedback. Are website owners and SEOs planning to place even more emphasis on fresh content? For those copywriters out there, how do you think it will change the demand?

Thanks!

I have decided to test adding content to our marketing mix. Florida was a nice emphasis on why but I had made my decision weeks before Florida.

I've just read too many articles about small businesses that drive a majority of their traffic from content pages to ignore it.

Ditto, except I've always had a network of high-content (authority hub) sites and knew what they could do. Over the years, though, my content developers have wandered off or gotten lazy and I'd grown tired of flogging them. I haven't lost the edge yet, but just having an edge isn't very comforting when there was a time that I was lightyears ahead.

It's not a question of it becoming more important since webmasterworld's Google Florida update [webmasterworld.com], it's a question of how other aspects have declined in value.
Content is the single most important thing on your site.

In addition, fresh content is only one aspect.

The key is to make a good website is with highly-relevant content.

If you need to subcontact that work to get good quality content, then do so.

I shall be continuing to build relevant, quality, content-rich sites.
