Tracking of worldwide sales of dance music

Hi!
I'm new to webmaster, and I want to know is anyone familiar with the procedure to track sales of (actual units sold) for dance (house) music records, tapes, cd's, etc...worldwide? Any suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated!
