Youtube video theft

I have a very well followed and populated youtube channel with all video clips being credited at beginning and the end. Another channel is taking my content and removing the credits from beginning and end and then uploading it to there own channel. We do not mind embedding and sharing at all as it is all credited for the brand...but to cut the credits and show it as your own must be a copyright infringement.....what is the best way to deal with this as the owner of the channel is not responding...thank you

no phranque i have not....would that be the best route to take.....have not had this problem before so am a bit unsure? tks

I've seen many copied videos that are being streamed with Google Ads, why does it happen?

dude...when you fill out a Content ID application and get approved. YouTube can auto-detect the duplicates..at which you then get the option to either flag and remove the duplicate...or get Ad Revenue off of their version...most choose the Ad Revenue option.

Surprised sooo many people still ask these questions...as if nobody knows about Content ID. Google "youtube content id" .

What happens at that point is...they get $0 revenue...and u get all their revenue. (gimmie all ur base)

I'm pretty sure that's how Content ID works...and you should be auto-notified after you sign up, and duplicates are found.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
