Copyright message and SEO, penalties, etc.

Does including the text twice into the story hurts?

Hi there, not sure if this should go on SEO or on Copyrighting.

I was thinking on adding at least 3 lines, disclaimers to my texts but inside the story, not at the end. Taker per example adding "This texts belongs to XX at www. aaa .com" inside a div or span with very small font size in white text, so small you can't see it but when you copy it, it will be there. Sounds silly at times, not so silly other times.

Consequences? share.

People steal content... and they are lazy. There is no magic solution unless you put some GIF text there with watermarks. Anyway lazy people hate work and extra work. Some won't even check or correct the whole story they are stealing, many use copy and paste or bots to steal.

I don't have it on me but there's javascript so that when a user copies data to the clipboard it's modified. You can add a line or empty the clipboard. Don't know if there is any negative affect of this either but it seems a better solution than an div with tiny text in your pages.
