Duplicate content issue

Hi,
I have a query on duplicate content issue.

Actually yesterday I checked a website's inner-page on Copyscape Tool and there I found almost 5-7 sites urls listed where 100% matched content.

I just want to know how can I understand which site written it's first.

Is there any tool to find out this?

you might be able to discover clues using the advanced search features on google and use a custom date range.
you can sometimes discover publication dates or at least get a rough idea from the wayback machine.

- in any google search results page click "Show search tools" and you will see options to specify a date range.

- search for "wayback machine" and see if they have anything archived for that website.

2nd option I know but I wasn't aware of Google Search Option. I'll try and let you know.
