I am one of admins at widgetforum dot com. Few days ago we realized someone registered forumwidget dot com domain and copied at least part of the forum content there. forumwidget dot com is hosted at exampleisp . net, I have sent an email to exampleisp's abuse address, giving links to both sites and explaining what is going on, but four days passed and they have not even replied, all I got was an automated response with a ticket number. Their "Acceptable Service Use Policy" contains this information:
The DMCA contains very specific criteria setting out what an allegation of copyright infringement must contain. (...) exampleisp is not required to respond to notices that do not fall within these criteria. Please review them carefully.
and I wonder if they are not just ignoring information sent because it was not following the "Elements of notification" spelled out in Copyright Law to the letter.
Any advice?
