After DMCA, What Other Options?

One of my sites was ripped off by two domains (must be with the same person as it is both .com and .org of same domain). Total rip off -- including all our content, images, even logo and copyright information of OUR company. They did not even bother to change the logo and simply used our site's logo. Even their copyright notice is that of our company's name

We have sent a DMCA to the web host, and they said that "We have contacted our direct client regarding your report and expect a prompt response, including action against the abuser."

That was Friday last week and the two sites are still up

I have also filed a DMCA with the domain provider today.

What should be the next step? Can I do anything else other than wait?

I haven't sent Google any DMCA yet, though I have seen their Advertise with Us page (ours actually) indexed in Google already. I just don't want that site to be up longer and do more harm to us (duplicate content, etc)

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

I grab sentences from my page and Google them in quotes. There's probably better ways, but it's a pretty good low tech way for someone with only 20 pages or so on their site.

Agreed!

This is the manner in which I just found out the most recent sleaze
ball that's copied one of my antenna construction web page series.

The jerk even included most of my images which includes images
of my car (it is a mobile antenna) with my vanity license plate
plainly visible
!
Sweet!

What an absolute waste of time. I have a scraper hosting adsense all over about 100 pages of my content - hosted on the same ISP that I use, of all people.

My hosting company doesn't care less. They're happy apparently to continue to take money for hosting my scraped content.

And here's Google's response to a DMCA:
We have received your DMCA complaint dated 09/29/11. At this time, Google
has decided not to take action on the following pages based on our
policies concerning content removal:

So Google's now not only actively making money from my content, but is doing so with the full knowledge that they are making money from a scraper.

Yeah we know it's your stolen content and you're complaining, but we've decided not to take action.

If there was any goodwill left with me and Google, it's gone now. It's not like this was a close case - it's clear to anyone that the content was on my site, and the infringing site is a scraper. There's no way someone looked at the two sites and had any doubt as to what's going on.
