I have a website which provides E-commerce templates of diverse categories. Under each category there are a number of templates displayed in order of page 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. displaying a thumbnail of the templates.
Now this site lacks textual content which makes the search engine indexation difficult.
There is a text block where I can put some texts but since the pages display the templates dynamically, chances are that the templates would change over time and therefore, targeted content in the inner pages wouldn't make much sense.
I checked out a couple of big websites and found that they too provide some texts at a text block but maintain that same texts in the inner template pages too(where templates are generated dynamically). But I guess that may give rise to a duplicate content issue within the site itself.
My question is, do I therefore keep text in the first page only? Any other way to bring in more content in the site?
