For a technical site , i want provide information on a particular topic.
I have the standard relevant links on topic.
i also have used above these links a profile of an authority in the topic with their information they have givem me with their permission. What else could i have for content on these pages that could be valuable?

Should i talk about products at all in area to like in accounting software in accounting. Or should i have little facts in there about accounting.

I really want it to be good enough content that someone will actually think its worth to link to that catergory from their web site. What u think?

What content do i need to make it great content. Any ideas would be really helpful, i would like this content to be unique enough for editors of dmoz to consider me.
What could this unique content be?

Unique and/or hard-to-find and/or up-to-date content.

Make a resource that brings information together in ways that nobody else has. Make it easier to navigate and read, and you should have a winner.

"Unique" is relative, penfold25 - if you write it yourself and organize it in your own way, that will be sufficiently unique for DMOZ. More importantly, though, if you make the info useful to visitors, you'll be able to attract many other links over time. You'll have better luck with link requests, and perhaps pick up unsolicited links, too. So, go for quality and utility...

Yes, I'll second the suggestions. Consider educational or practical advice: That's always a winner.

One way to conceptualize this is to think about common questions people may have about a given topic, then craft answers to those questions, then weave them together into one or more articles.

Answering questions is useful. Usefulness makes you link-worthy.
