I want to use comparative pricing in a article I am writing. Now lets say I want to compare "widgets1" to "widgets2" in my article. How do I do this without getting sued for trademark infringement.

a) Do I need the put the "R" or "TM" symbol at the end of the name I am referring to?
b) Do I need to add some sort of disclaimer to the bottom of the page? (And how I would word it?)

Thanks for any advice on this.

In an editorial context, ie, writing an article, you do not need to use ™ or ®.
