Here are several ideas I have about the process
1. I get the client to write the copy and pass it to me
2. I rewrite the copy with new keywords at correct density’s and frequencies.
3.I return the copy to the client.
4.The client comes back with any changes
Or

2. Client is given the number of times he needs to mention specific keywords ect and he adjusts the content himself.
3. Client passes back new copy back to me to check and adjust
I welcome all alternate suggestion ?

It doesn't matter how you manage the project just as long as it gets done to the satisfaction of all parties. You undoubtedly have expertise that the client does not - in SEO. However, the client will have a knowledge of the products or services that they offer that you do not. They will have a much better understanding than you of company and industry terminology and jargon.
It's just a case of getting the right balance between their needs (the correct use of terminology and sector language) and your input (SEO). As long as both are catered for, and the client is happy, then the job is done.

So, if we know more than 40 variables to achieve top position just copywrite is ONE variable. Rest are from SEO expert. Density and frequency is old concept from year 1997...
New concept is quality content,outside links and specially make Call to action. This last is now the most important.
