Forum Moderators: not2easy
Sure, when I create an article based page I need to write those myself. But what about a website that is supposed to function as:
- a yellow pages ads
- an auction site
- a real estate search
- a job posting place
How do I go about those? Say I create a site where companies can look for employees, should I contact a company and say: "you can post your job opportunities on our site for free. Yeah, nobody has done it yet, but you can be the first !"
I had terrible experience in doing this, nobody wants to even bother with something that is not yet acknowledged as a good site.
How do internet forums pick up? Does the original creator make a dozen of phony nicknames and rant about stuff with himself until others catch up?
I can see this happening in a company where you can assign people to it,l but what about us lone coders? : D
Any advice would be good, cause I get really discouraged lately simply because I have doubts I'll be able to get my projects "out" there.
And I love building new stuff :)
