Why is it legal for Google to republish pre-2001 Usenet?

as per usual google is taking what belongs to others and republishing it ..and relying on it's ultra deep pockets to dissuade legal action to stop them ..when in fact international copyright law already prohibits what they are doing ..

their arrogance is monstrous ..and their corporate lack of ethics is now beneath contempt ..
