Including submitted articles on own site?

I`ve just submitted 20 articles to all the top article directories, do you think it is also a good idea to include these very same articles on my own site (the one they link to)? I`ve heard the best thing to do is put articles up on your site and promote them through Social Networking but I do not have the time to do this... and it is a little late now.

I want to make the most of this quality content but I don`t want to devalue any of the articles for dup content. Advice kindly accepted if I should put these 20 articles on my site or not.

Yep, unless you can somehow convince the search engines that your site originated the articles instead of the other sites, you're probably out of luck for those 20 articles.

Might be best to invest the time you have writing for your own site.

I have also heard that if your site is made up of 30% original material all is fine (which i`m sure is very debatable). So if I change the title of the article and change the main text a little the article would have some worth. The value of the content I want for my site, but the value of the incoming links I want from the directories, I suppose you canīt have both. In theory does that suggest you should always have articles put on you site before you submit to the likes of ezine?

Iīm sure if I put the articles up soon on my site, they will be indexed before the article directories. Think I should go for it?

Unless you are going to completely paraphrase the articles so that their text appears completely different, don't post them on your site once you've submitted them to directories. Also, don't post anything to directories that you have on your site already, unless you completely paraphrase that.

You want to avoid having duplicate content, or you will gain no value from it.
