Hello,

I am using Google Translate to translate some articles on my website to 5 extra languages. Can I be penalized by Google for duplicate content?

If it's not the same language, it's not duplicate.

But as has been discussed many times here, don't waste your time using machine translated content.

Don't of make the translate of document write, otherwise document make not sense in write of translate.

(You get the idea)

I use Google to translate the text because I believe it is the most advanced free solution. I tell the visitors that the translation is machine-generated so it may not be 100% accurate.

And your website mainly use what language? Main thing I hate about the Google translate is that it translates the page text literally! Text should be transliterated not just translated for people to understand!
