Limitations & concerns using RSS feeds & outbound links in frames

I’m coding a news aggregating site showcasing the latest widget headlines, complimented with short descriptions and outbound links.

A recent post about a pending lawsuit against the Drudge Retort gave me pause, and I’ll be intently following that post and story.

While not a primary concern as my site gathers content with permission from a handful of individual newsmaker’s RSS feeds; I do use a custom API RSS feed from Yahoo that casts a wider net, pulling RSS headlines, links and descriptions from a seemingly limitless number of websites; all of which I couldn’t feasibly each ask permission for. However, I couldn’t find my site in violation for any of the Yahoo API RSS regulations. I’ll need to double check.

My primary concern are outbound links from my site soon to be loading in a “framed” layout, as opposed to a direct link. The primary content will load on one side with a value added sidebar from my site on the other. Think links from Google Images, or on a different tone About.

Is this something I need to be concerned about?
