Custom news service

any recommenndations?

I am looking to get some custom newsfeeds on my website. I dont have the time to write them myself.

Anyone know of a company (preferably in the UK) that can write topical news to spec? has to be unique as I do NOT want any duplicate content. As well as for the visitors, this is good for my Serps. Used to write my own news and it definitely helped get me further up the serps.

I see a few services come up on Google, but as it is quite expensive I just wonder whether anyone has any direct experiences.

The company I use is Newsvend; they supply the stories daily in xml format, and we parse the feed direct into our website. They are pretty good. We used to use an outfit called Adfero but the quality of their stories let's just say was wanting.

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of rates do Newsvend charge?

I'll pm you what we pay, I think we got a better-than-rate-card deal because we contracted for several stories a day over different web sites
