Symbols may vary from source to source, but the most common symbol, for example, for the 30-year bond yield is $TYX.
So, you should be asking "what's the symbol", not "what's the widget."
For example, go to quote.com, enter symbol $TYX, there's your 30-year t-bond rate.
I assume they have a widget - along with dozens of other quote sites.
This is currently what I have displayed using a widget from widgetbox: (LiveStockQuotes)
^DJI 2:35pm $12522.43 -26.21 -0.21%
^IXIC 2:35pm $2336.80 +10.05 +0.43%
^XAX 2:35pm $2213.82 -5.81 -0.26%
^NYA 2:35pm $8928.54 +68.93 +0.78%
^GSPC 2:35pm $1352.02 +2.14 +0.16%
^RUT 2:15pm $705.49 +4.21 +0.60%
^FVX 2:15pm $2.607 +0.007 +0.27%
^TNX 2:15pm $3.513 -0.009 -0.26%
^TYX 2:15pm $4.315 +0.003 +0.07%
I found symbols for shorter bonds like 1M, 3M, etc : ^UST1M, ^UST3M, etc. However this widget doesn't like these names for some reason. Does anyone know of othe symbols for these bonds including 6M and 2Y?
Also, does anyone know of a ticker that shows the full name and not the symbol that you can customize like this one? I can find market summaries, but I can't find widgets that let you customize like this one and take the treasury symbols.
Thanks for any help. It is much appreciated.
