What Precautions Can I Take To Avoid Copyright Theft?

I'm sure I'ts just a mater of time before someone rips off one of my sales letters.

What are some steps I can take to keep this from happening? And, what can I do to be prepared when it does happen?

Always post a copyright notice, and "all rights reserved" blurb in your footer. Protect your server from scraping by blocking as many bad robots as you can.

There are some fairly good guides online about what to do when your content is stolen, but there's not an awful lot you can do to prevent it in the first place, other than warning people that you will take legal action against infringement, or not putting your information online in the first place.
