if i granted how can i repay him back for his pics. few options.

1.flow over words for photographer name,
2. credit in the site.
3. sell his work on my site.

Just a thought . . .

henryrk, you might use some or all of the one syou mentioned. You could as well pay a one time fee, but it is always important to ask for permission before you begin using them.

title seems to need a little adjustment, i think you meant books :)

The publisher should be able to point you in the right direction.
Brett's search engine traffic for this thread could be interesting

I'd write the publisher and ask if you can scan the photos to use, along with "online bookseller" affiliate links for the specific book. It always pays to ask and can't hurt, though there may be something written into copyright law about fair use with regard to the web vs. printed materials.

Exactly two minutes to show up on the active list at Google with a site: search and an exact match. They must have the spider *sitting* on the active list 24/7/365. Seven minutes for the thread to rank #16 for just the search term, and #8 for just an exact match query (in quotes, no site: included).

I have been looking for insect pictures to add to my site. Does anyone know where I can get free pictures?

Kreesh, try the Open Clip Art Directory (I'll see if they'll let the link through: [openclipart.org...] )
