Artilce site good for SEO

Hi

my site is still new. just starting out.
i need heavy content for the site to kick start.

is it ok if i were to use the articles or the article submission site?
will my SEO be affected , i am in the progress of asking permission from authors to publish their work in my site directly in return ill give then a professional looking about the author space.

please share your idea on this.
Ive read frm V bulletin forum that copying article will get punished by goggle etc

Hi Henry,

Duplicating content isn't a bad thing - you won't be penalised for it as such - it just won't rank for anything, so it is worth writing your own articles and using articles from other authors to pad out your site a little to begin with. Basically make sure that the majority of your content is unique and your duplicated articles only account for a small fraction of the whole.

The author profile page is a great idea - you could use it to entice authors to publish more articles on your site on a regular basis.
