reporting plagiarism to search engines

We have the problem that others copy our web site and blogspot text and use it for their own sites with out acknowledging us.

When we see our words appearing in google search results for competitors sites we are naturally concerned, and today my employer has said:

"Text is taken word for word from our site! Clearly this is plagiarism and can lead to problems for us as duplicate content. I am getting less and less tolerant of others stealing our content. I want to pursue this one!".

Can we report sites that blatantly steal our copy to google and other search engines?
