Hello,

I have noticed that number of guitar tabs websites were taken down by MBA.

Does anyone know how from the legal point of view can i or someone else setup guitar tabs website and pay respective copyright holders,i mean is there an organization like ASCAP where you can pay royalty fees from sales to one organization and dont have problems with copyright holders?

My son's been urging me to get deeper in the matter, he is a very talented guitar player and needed free tabs to place on his personal website. From what I've read here and there on the web, I guess the associations he might have troubles with are the National Music Publishers Association and the Music Publishers Association of America. Unfortunately, these two do exist and censor.
