Big site with girls images. Can i do the same? Legal or ilegal?

Hi... There is an Latinamerican site that has sexy girls images submitted by the visitors. Itīs supposed that the visitor uploading the photo is the owner of the photo and accepts an agreetment about that. We all know that the visitor is not the owner. The site is a success, i want to make a similar site, but what about the legal part? Itīs safe if i say that the images are submitted by the owners? What about this?

If you publish content that is not yours to publish, then you are breaching copyright.

So is the person who submitted, but that does not help you.

Especially as you KNOW that the stuff is not 'public domain', and you could never convince a court that you did not know what was going on.

You might get away with it if you ask your submitters to sign a form "under penalty of perjury" - but I doubt you'll get many forms, especially as you'll need to confirm every senders identity.

Bottom line is "stolen property is never yours".

Thanks for the reply. Two questions more. What if i develop a method to remove the image? and What if a make a site with images from others sites BUT i put a link back... kinda blog?

1. I don't understand your point about removing the image.

2. If you stole a care, would placing the owners phone number on the dashboard make it OK?

If you wish to use other people's property, you need to ask - or accept the consequences somewhere down the line.
