How to handle

I've written a few ebooks that I sell at my site. I'm going to let the owners of another site post an abbreviated version of one ebook at their website. It contains helpful information of interest to their visitors, who will be able to download it for free.

I don't care that I'm not getting paid. There is a potential for a *huge* number of people to find my site as a result of downloading the book. My site name and links to related information will be contained within the ebook.

Question:

Is there some sort of agreement I should enter into with the site owners?

Thank you.

If you are giving away the content of the ebook and just want to have some sort of release to cover the site owners for having it available to download, I would suggest looking at sites that give away free content and making an agreement based on what they have.

The site parapublishing.com has an article library, and they have a statement on their page you may want to look at that releases the articles for use provided they're not altered and links back stay the same, etc. It's here: [parapublishing.com...]

But I'm sure you can find similar things by looking around the web.
