I'm considering selling some pre-written content and I am trying to gauge the most in-demand topics. Does anyone have a good method of figuring that out? So far I've thought of looking up a list of the most profitable adwords, browsing places like like elance for writing jobs, etc. Anyone have a better way? Thanks.

I think browsing the freelance sites would probably be the best bet, but I don't think you're going to find anything that really jumps out at you. With as sliced and diced interests are on the net the "most in demand" topics might register at as low as one percent or so.

It might be best to focus on segments such as technical, consumer, educational, political, or however you would want to break it up, in order to get the larger percentages needed to see a better picture.
