Hi,
I have my content copied all over and I do not like it. I do not want this to happen anyone that's why I am asking this questions.

I want to create a review/rating website and display ratings from other portals ratings.
so for example ratings for wiget blue are as follows.
cnet - 6
site2 - 10
site3 - 8

Now can I display these rating on my site as is or will it be consider content theft which I won't do.

If you state 'as a matter of fact' that a certain widget has a certain score from a certain site, that's probably all right, but check the site's 'about' pages to be sure.

If you use their logos and /or their 'style' to display the scores, then you will most definitely need permission.

Copyright generally exists in the form of copying, not the message; there is no copyright in ideas or facts, though logos or phrases containing those ideas may be protected.

If you do make reference to "so-and-so gives Widget X five out of five stars!", you might also want to have some "small print" at the bottom somewhere saying something along the lines of "the above does not constitute an endorsement of this site by so-and-so; logo so-and-so is the trademarked property of so-and-so; all rights reserved", etc, etc.
