Something like CopyScape

Hi,

Is there another website or freeware software that is as good as Copyscape that people use? I am having some content written for me so I want to validate that it is unique, but have hit the maximum of 20 search per month.

If you don't mind doing it by hand, you can pull sentences out of the articles, put them in quotes, and run them through Google.

The problem with that, and with Copyscape, actually, is that if someone takes an article, and systematically paraphrases it, you won't detect it. But that's a form of plagiarism.
